The challenge
While inspections are essential for insurance carriers, the process can be inconvenient for policyholders—often requiring them to leave work or coordinate schedules to meet with an inspector. EXL needed a more flexible way to gather accurate information without sacrificing reliability.
The solution
To address this, EXL introduced a new product called Assist, which allows surveys to be completed remotely—giving policyholders the option of a digital inspection. This gave EXL a competitive advantage by improving turnaround time, reducing friction in the process, and lowering costs for carriers while giving them confidence that digital inspections are just as trustworthy as in-person visits.
